Nature has a mind of its own, that’s for sure.

It may seem that this was a beautiful day to shoot a sunset, but minutes before it had been pouring down with rain, and I thought the sunset would be lost behind the clouds.

Then to my surprise, the clouds parted like magic. Revealing an intense sunset, the colour of a delicious cocktail. I imagine if this sunset was a cocktail, it would be very easy to drink, which is why I named it “Tipsy”.

I love the way the water collecting in the ripples in the sand creates texture in the foreground and reflects some of the beautiful colours in the sky.

This piece brings vibrance and sophistication to a space, without being over the top.
